The NVS2501 complements devices such as the nanoFlash recorder and other solid state recorders including XDCAM-EX cameras.
The device contains a 750GB internal hard drive and is used to make backup copies of data cards, including:
- SxS
- P2
- CF
- SD
- SDHC
- MMC
- MS
- Ikegami GFPAK (via eSATA).
An external USB drive can be attached onto which simutaneous backups can be made or backups can be made later.
Ideal for making client rushes copies available on the day of a shoot.
Previews of transferred footage (XDCAM & P2) can be made on the front panel display. Transfers to PC or MAC can be made via USB, Firewire 800 or eSATA.
